KayaRadar Privacy Policy

1. What KayaRadar is

KayaRadar is a market-research and catalogue-management tool for online merchants. The "KayaRadar" Shopify app lets a merchant connect their store so that products, pages, collections, menus, policies and shipping settings can be created there, and so the store's setup status can be checked.

2. Data we collect through Shopify

On installation, Shopify provides an access token for the store and store-level information: store name, owner email, currency, country, plan, domains, themes, products, pages, policies and shipping zones. We request no end-customer data: no orders, no customers, no payment data.

3. How we use it

Only to provide the service to the merchant: show the store's status, create or update products and content on the merchant's request, and offer recommendations. We do not sell or rent this data. We share it with no third party except strictly necessary technical providers (hosting, AI models used to draft texts at the merchant's request), bound by confidentiality obligations.

4. Retention and security

Access tokens are encrypted at rest (AES-256-GCM) on our servers hosted in the European Union. They are deleted on uninstall or on request. Technical logs are kept for 30 days.

5. Your rights and Shopify requests

We honour Shopify's mandatory webhooks: customer data request, customer data erasure and shop erasure. When a shop is erased, all associated data is deleted within 48 hours. For any access, rectification or erasure request: [email protected].

6. Cookies

The KayaRadar app only uses the merchant's browser local storage for display preferences. No advertising cookies.
